Dobharchu

The Dobharchu is one of the few deep sea dragons which is able to survive at the surface for a longer period of time. Aggressive and unpredictable by nature, they often attack boats and ships and are responsible for many deaths at sea. While most deep sea dragons have evolved into massive giants, the Dobharchu is built for speed rather than size.

Third illustration in my serie of deep sea dragons, made for an assignment in high school.
Come to think of it, the head seems to be a bit to big for the rest of the body.. What do you think?
